Ecoline new cap serie
Our new series Ecoline with M11 and M15 thread has been succesfully sampled and is now available in two different diameters. The line will also be supplemented in a few weeks by S22 threaded cap. For the production of these caps from the series MyCap by RUBA ® we have used the forms of the Classic Standard, so the inside of the caps has remained unchanged.
- Material savings through weight reduction
- No new homologation necessary (based on the Standard Classic tool)
- Sorted disposal with caps made of Polyethylen (PE)
- price advantage
The main advantage is that up to 78% less material (depending on the cap size) can be used to manufacture the cap.
It is possible to extend the Ecoline, e.g. with thread M09 or S13.
Sorting purity - Easy Recycling
People as users are increasingly trying to carry out the recycling process as environmentally friendly as possible. The need for sorted disposal is big.
Our customers deal with this topic just as we do.
In order to be able to offer a sustainable and optimal solution, we have also tested the new Eco cap with M15 thread in different polyethylene (PE) materials. Succesfull PE trials can be found here.

Together we can make recycling easier!
What does "bio" mean? For us it means that our caps are made of renewable raw materials and biodegradable materials.
A sustainable and environmentally friendly packaging solution is our vision!
We have already tested several biobased plastics. These tests have shown that we have to carry out a prior sampling for each closure/mould. Not all tools are equally suitable for different materials. We have succesfuly sampled the new Ecoline cap with the following materials: PE-Terralene WF3516, PP-Terralene PP3505 and Braskem PE-SHC7260.
